The worst choice you should never have to make

The world has been divided by opposing points of view

And shown a different side to folks we thought we knew.

Which turned them into enemies, the likes I've never known

And all because the elite want more trillions to own.

Suicide is up, because of all this fear,

So if you truly love someone, make sure to keep them near.

I've done things I'm ashamed of, as no doubt you have too

But live, & let live should be THE law, it's all that we can do.

It was hard enough before, to know who you can trust,

But now it seems trusting no one is actually a must!

Love first, until betrayed used to be my own belief

But it backfired every time, so now it's a relief

That people I thought were friends have shown me their true colours

And freed me from obligation. Now they're just 'the others'.

I no longer have to worry, what my 'friends' will think of me

I'm happy in my bubble, up in my crazy tree.

I live with God, you may know Him by a different name,

Only He accepts me, without making me feel shame.

And if my life goes on, with Him my only friend,

I know I'll be content, until the very end.

Every day I try my best to keep on the right path

I find Him in the simple things, and things that make me laugh.

He doesn't get upset, and never gets offended

Unlike many humans; those friendships that have ended.

I wish there was another way to open all the eyes,

Of those who have been tricked by all these insane lies.

But sadly we've been conditioned, or brainwashed since a child

The ways 'they' keep the masses, weak, compliant, meek & mild.

I will never shun the sheep; I used to follow too

But no way on this earth will they tell me what to do!

So God bless you all, those with and without a voice

And be happy for each other, no matter the decided choice.

About the Creator

Emma Baker

I've longed to be a writer, since the age of 4

Peter Rabbit was the subject, but since then many more.

I wrote this little poem as an intro into me,

You're soon to discover I fell out the crazy tree 🤪

No more room, so come inside and see!
