Living in the centre
Live sounds 2

loud ambulance noises
mixed with a female squeak
achieving as many orgasms
as there are hours in the evening
*
cars wailing alarms
run fast
to the moon and back
to the ground
*
where peace cannot be obtained
behind a thin veil casting its tall shade
on my little world
so, what am I supposed to do?
*
escape where there is less water trying to break in dangerously
into my sensitive, safe, self-productive world?
where neither of them can enter to destroy
the tiniest piece of it?
*
where I can hear and see
what can others do with their so-called life?
scandalous, stupid, not valued as much
as my humble abode
*
where I can sit in silence, solely submerged
in my own piece of success
what that means for them, I don’t know
why should I bother with someone else’s whims without a worth?
*
when I think about my well-presented well-being
in my well-worn wide-spread arms
vehemently waiting to find
a warmth in my well-thought-out spare time
