Blurry eyes

Black coffee

Liquid screens

Non-stop, tip tap

It hurts to sleep

It hurts to breathe

Blurry eyes

Black coffee

Liquid screens

It hursts to sleep

When the pain is persistent

When it runs deep

Ever so deep

I write

The pen keeps gliding

The ink continues to flow

It's like popping a pill

Like an endless stream of liquid relievers

The sticky evening heat reminds me of liquid screens and black coffee

Eternal nights of black ink and liquid crystal displays

The addictive sound of the click clack keyboard

Tip tap

24 hours of bulging eyes and aching hands

She writes

She writes

She writes

love poems
