Becoming digital
A poem about evolving as a digital entrepreneur
“Becoming Digital”
You begin with an idea—
small, glowing, half-formed,
like a spark that doesn’t yet know it’s a flame.
You feed it time.
You feed it doubt.
You feed it late nights and the quiet ache of wanting more.
At first, the world doesn’t see it.
But that’s how all revolutions start—
in silence,
in faith,
in code and coffee and courage.
You learn that failure isn’t the end;
it’s the curriculum.
You learn that algorithms shift,
markets turn,
but your voice—
your message—
can still cut through the noise if you speak from the marrow.
You evolve, not by growing faster,
but by growing truer.
By shedding what no longer fits.
By building systems that match your soul.
And somewhere between your first sale
and your thousandth self-doubt,
you realize—
you were never chasing money.
You were chasing freedom.
To think.
To create.
To build something that outlives the version of you who began.
Because that’s what a digital entrepreneur really is:
a builder of futures,
a weaver of possibility,
a soul brave enough
to turn imagination into income.
And through every pivot, every rebrand, every quiet restart—
you are not starting over.
You are starting higher.
