A dream with a message for real life

A divine figure came to me in a strange dream

It proceeded to craft a world I'd never seen

As if with the hand of god, it gave light

The brightness made way for luscious life

An abundance of thriving flowers and foilage sprung

Beasts soon followed humongous and mighty

Except for one creature, small, doe-eyed, and frightened

It scurried to me in need of repose

The hand kept building; the world had to grow

Castles were sprouting beautiful and lofty

My familiar and I scanned the land so bewildered

Fairy dust sprinkled down like illuminated rain

A path into thicket magically radiated

With haste, we followed into the forest

There cherubs were singing a delightful chorus

How amazing this world un-folidng before us

Their tune was directed at me; I couldn't ignore it

"My dear though this world be but a dream"

"You can master building a fantastic reality"

It was then I suddenly awoke

Reflecting on what the angels subconsciously spoke

It is time to master the tedious work of being the best me
