"Oh, Dear Lord," I can't help but think to myself as I see a massive Philadelphia Eagles beach umbrella lying camp in front of me. As if the beach umbrella wasn't extra enough, the man who owns the novelty umbrella also is sporting Philadelphia eagles swim trunks and a Philadelphia eagles sunhat. Of course, how could he forget his Philadelphia eagles beach towel? This man is ridiculous. So is the idea of him blocking my sun! & My designer beach aesthetic, too, ugh.

Toxic or Naw?
“Hey Alexa, set a reminder for 1 hour to change the laundry out.” I felt silly that I needed these reminders. I am an adult, for fucks sake. However, I had grown my self-awareness to know when I needed help, like recently. It is OK to accept it, even if it is in the form of my virtual assistant. At least, that is what one of the mods in the self-help subreddit I began following said.

This Strange Life
I am a week away from entering my 31st revolution around the sun. A very strange age; I guess it is only strange due to the societal pressures put on women both before and after they turn 30. When I think of aging, I truly pay it no mind. However, once you are 30, it feels like each year forward is a milestone in and of itself. Throw in the other milestones you are told you should have met (marriage, children, travel, career, etc.), and you kind of get this big shock.
