Lessons

Rock Bubbles

Lessons lie in tear swollen eyes,

so try, try, - try to get by.

Past salty rains, overflowing red-blurry eyes,

Beyond cloudy pains, churning inside,

& strive for a new sunrise, which lies

Just past the horizon, in golden-orange skies,

Obscured by hurt, yet still shining bright.

The sun will rise on the other side,

Where we will bathe in the warm rays,

Of all the knowledge gained from pain.

We must remain, appreciative,

For what these hard experiences bring.

So go, go, - go grow again,

Using that bright radiance from within,

& cherish all the wisdom gained,

From the turbulent disturbances

This wonderful life can bring.
