There was once a man who dated the sea

He courted her often upon his steed

Once he had her betrayed

She had him flayed

And that's the birth of the Nuckelavee

I should have been born in Scotland. They have the best monsters there. I enjoyed learning about another one in the video, and I enjoyed the limerick. Well done, Thavien.

  • This is like the awesomest of the most awesome limericks! I came to know about Nuckalavee from Novel's story. Thanks for embedding that YouTube video! It's so weird for something so terrifying to be afraid of water.

almost a chilling limerick. Nuckelavee is scary

  • I love it when I'm reading for enjoyment and learn new things! I had never heard of a Nuckelavee. Thanks for sharing the link! This is a great limerick. I've never been any good at writing these and I admire your versatility!
