False Masks

Hiding in plain sight at the site.

Faces made to hide Your own

Masks made cause You're alone

In modern times, on a phone

You've made masks to sit on their throne

*

You've made a mask to attack some others

With insults and lies, words to smother

Yet all Your masks begin to clutter

Your own abode up past its shutters

*

With masks You've made its hell You raise

With masks You've made Yourself You praise

With masks You've made people You raze

The masks You've made filled with malaise

*

Yet, there is one true thing

"Whoever has to say that he is the King is no true King."

These words truly ring.

To a jestering phony, they might even sting.

*

You've made other faces

Sent them to other places

Instead of extending good graces

You're racking up cases

*

These other faces are suspicious.

They have Your judgement. They're not judicious.

Your own downfall will make us auspicious.

Watching You dig Your own hole is quite delicious.

*

These other faces, we know they're You

These other faces, are false not true

These other faces, once tossed aside are through

These other faces all share Your view

*

All these faces only share two eyes

All these faces have one person they despise

All these faces spread rumors and lies

All these faces and You still couldn't make one wise

*

Annoyance, a nuisance, You're not a delight

Clairvoyance is key in knocking You down to height

All Your faces are a false army that lack any real might

Once You're finished, we'll live in peace and continue to write

*

All Your faces and You still choose not to be smart

All Your faces and You still want a fight to start

All Your faces and You still play the victim's part

All Your faces and You still lack mastery of the language arts

*

You use Your masks cause Your too afraid

You use Your masks cause You're not brave

You use Your masks hoping that Your own ass will get saved

You use Your masks to launder funds and get paid

*

You've made masks to set Your trends

You've made masks since You're lacking friends

You've made masks, let's not pretend

You've made masks, but not amends

*

The faces You were are easy to break

It's You underneath them, there's no mistake

Please, stop administering us several headaches

Your real face beneath the faces too might just be fake

*

You'll make a face. You'll make a masks.

Yet, for all Your efforts, they'll never last.

You'll see, once Justice comes to past.

Best pray and duck Your head between Your knees to kiss Your ass.

*

You use Your masks to get attention.

You use Your masks, Your own inventions.

You use Your masks to Your convention.

For Your use of Your masks You need detention.

*

How many masks will You make until Your satisfied?

How many masks will You make to have Your voice falsely amplified?

How many masks will You make until You feel dignified?

How many masks that You've made saw this published, getting "Notified?"
