Last Two Words
for some reason i was compelled to do this thing...
this first line is to tell you i’m taking the last two words,
just those last two from out of the entire fourth line
i'm not even going to touch the third
because in the second i have set up the rhyme
the rhyme is neither a given or a constant
can you not see if it is or is not there
this is getting to be harder than i thought
i need to worry about the here and where
and where the hell did i go with that fourth verse
and how the hell am I going to tie all this together
this will require a very special type of bonding agent
it's not to clever ay to say never say sever yay forever
yay forever and the eternity i want but do not need
amid this constant construction interruption
it’s got that not quite right not quite real feel (about it)
just more resilient seminal disruption and corruption
