Joe Hunted For Meaning in Life

He got it later.

By Darla M SeelyPublished 3 months ago Updated 3 months ago 1 min read

Joe needed direction in his life

Because he found it hard to love.

He had a few friends,

But he was not part of the in crowd.

He had played baseball,

But he did not have success.

He could not focus in school.

His mind was in disarray.

Joe needed motivation;

A purpose and a plan.

He was laughed at in the past

When he did not do something right.

He hunted in his mind for answers,

For a spiritual path to follow.

He had one sister and one brother

And decided to focus more on them.

Joe went to his brother's soccer games

And his sister's dance recitals.

He praised them for thngs they did right.

They developed a stronger bond.

Since he learned to value

His brothers and sisters more.

He also valued himself.

His love for his siblings showed.

Joe put forth more effort in school.

He asked his teachers for help.

They told him they had faith in him.

He now had faith he would succeed.
