It's time for new opportunities
To take more chances
In the beginning of a seasonal shift
when winter give way to spring
budding blossoms an earthy green
poke through soil and bloom from tree buds
the start of a new morning
as dawn breaks and dew beads on blades of grass
As the sun peaks over the horizon, a sign
It's time for something new
In the beginning, when our minds are young
We long to learn new things
Everything our young minds can grasp
we desire any way to learn
we learn to walk, learn new words
we succeed then fail, and fail once more
only to pick ourselves up again
A baby's coo as it learns a new word
The word half spoken and unclear
A reminder that it's time to learn something new
To keep learning, persevering, you'll master it one day
It's time for new opportunities, to take more chances
In the beginning is the perfect time
