
If you have no set of wings, I will share mine with you
(for I have flown)
you may borrow mine anytime that you need to
only if you promise to put them to good use
If you have no smiles in your heart, I will share mine with you
(for I have known)
only if you promise to wear one or two
I have seen you every day with your face all torn
you have this look about you that looks so worn
I can tell that you need some kind of warm
If I hand to you a smile, will you wear it for awhile
and then maybe your heart can rest awhile.
