I Will Live For Love
Using a mirrored acrostic as my defining line for my submission to the 'Tattoo This Line' challenge.
In silence I withered, until your safety shrouded my Insecurity,
-
Words were quiet, but your name shouted through my Whispers
I had forgotten how to feel, then you taught me Intimacy
Light found my soul through the veil of your Laughter
Lonely no longer—your warmth now ends my Longing,
-
Laughter returned like a bright spring Leaf
I got locked in your gaze and told you all without Inquiry
Vows where unspoken, yet clear in the hush of your Voice
Every promise with you, rewrote my old Endings,
-
Forbidden thoughts linger in the touch of your Fingers
Over and over, I request to submit, you finally Obliged.
Reaching for you, my hands trembled with Rapture,
-
Love, defying darkness, a candle that burns with Loyalty
Once I lived in stasis, now I live in your Orbit
Virtuous acts define you, stitched with your sweet Vows
Even at night, a brightness now covered Everything.

Thank you to all who suffered through my attempt at another poem. I would like to give a special thanks to the Marriam-Webster Thesaurus, as it was a god send :D

Ooh, this is beautifully intimate and layered with quiet power! Love doesn’t always knock loud—it sometimes arrives as a whisper, rearranges your silence, and stays. ✨
Oh wow, I had no idea that there's a new challenge. I just checked it out, seems cool. And whoaaaa, you nailed this double Acrostic!
