The Old Ones Lighthouse
To My Dearest Love, I still hear the sea speak with your voice, each night, taunting me. Every crash of a wave upon these algae covered rocks reminds me of the first night we spent here. Memories echo through this now lonely lighthouse. I hear your voice whisper in the wind and see your face in the main lantern.

The Vines
Vines crept out from underneath his bed, branching out like tentacles reaching for their prey. He was making a point of not looking at them. Burying his head under the covers and pretending they didn’t exist, just like his dad had told him to do. Panic began to set in as he could feel them now, sliding and writhing across the blanket. Can you truly be a vampire or werewolf?
Okay, so let me start by stating this is NOT a fiction. This crude and poorly written story, is the process of my brain at ridiculous o'clock in the morning when I end up down a rabbit hole of weird and stupid google searches compiled with research papers, all because a question has magically popped in my thoughts and now it will not go away.

Who is in Control?
From the depths of an ignored reality, I watch. My beady eye is always staring, always studying, always learning. You used to cover me up, used to hide away from my watchful gaze using a post-it note or a random piece of paper. Now you let me stare at you from your desks. You see me watching you every time you pick up your phone and you have heard all the stories, but you play ignorant.

Harper's Conundrum . Content Warning.
Just for full discloser up front. My friend has subscribed to me on here to support me which is amazing. In a true show of friendship, I have written this short, obviously completely true biography, just for the simply pleasure of winding him up :)
