I Think in Color
The voice of the unseen spectrum of differently abled

Some people think in black and white
I think in shades from red to blue.
I’m autistic that makes me different, it’s true
But It doesn’t mean I’m better or worse than you.
I hold my head up with pride
and deal with life it’s a roller coaster ride.
It has its ups and downs and smiles and frowns.
Autistic people are people wherever they are found
We live in big cities and lots of small towns.
I think in lots of colors my laughter is sunset pink
With it I’m painting the world with love I think.
My smile brightens the day like the yellow sun
I bring warmth to people that’s second to none.
I love an orange day
It’s bright and happy and things go my way.
The humble blue of skies
Brings peace to the ocean of my mind.
It’s like the aquamarine sea
Flowing with brilliant creativity.
The serene of green takes away strife
Connecting me to earth and the beauty of life.
To the color purple I give a sweet nod
It is the color of majesty and the power of God.
This is my life and the rainbows it weaves
When we believe in ourselves then all can be achieved.
About the Creator
Life Management members' collaboration
Society has traditionally defined “abled” as having a full range of physical or mental abilities and those
who do not are in some way disabled. We believe that definition is limiting to personal growth and the
realization of potential.
