I'm Calling In Lovesick
to stay home with you

I haven’t missed a day of work in over five years
My record has always been perfect you know
Now all of that is getting ready to change
Cause today I’m calling in lovesick

I’ve been keeping my mind all wrapped up in my vocation
Now, I can see that our love’s been neglected
It’s finally dawn on me, you’re all I need.
So today, I’m calling in lovesick.

Holding you close is the best remedy
And soon I’ll be like new
You know how to make me feel good
Through and through
V-3
I’ll just call and say my fever’s out of control.
And I’ve come down with something stronger than a cold.
I don’t see why the boss has to know,
That you’re the reason I’m calling in lovesick.
