Your Home

Is Where My Heart Is

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 5 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

V-1

There have been so many places through the years that I’ve called home

Just places where I’ve hung my hat, ‘til I got the urge to roam

Now, I’ve finally found my piece of heaven, that I can call my home

I know I will stay forever as long as I’ve got you to hold

CH:

Your home is where my heart is, the only place I want to be

I only feel at home whenever you are with me

The love you have given me, is all I will ever need

Your home is where my heart is, and that’s where I want to be.

The only place I want to be.

V-2

There will be storms to ride out when the winds of change blow

Baby, you can rest assured, you won’t ride them out alone

I’m ready to put down my roots, there’s no more need for me to roam

This home is on solid ground, where the love we share can grow.

Repeat CH
