I’m blurry face
—inspired by Blurry Face by 21 Pilots & losing your muse
I’m blurry face I have no cap I don’t have a problem, proper grammar or punctuation but it’s better
I’m the blurry face monster crying over the deep end of the pool, shaking in the shades of grey and raging, violent blue
I can’t see past my own blurry vision without Moon-Milk-eyes
All my voices inside are filled with stale blurry red lines
I’m afraid of the dark as well as the light
How blinding it all feels
I’m hurt but I can’t find the origin of the wound
I’m blurry face and I feel the stinging difference between now and then
Reality tells me that they are actually the same thing
All the blurry wiped away
In a digital form of eyes as large as the moon
Blinking from afar
Lashes like Rings around a planet
Bleeding into my heart like a transplant
Crying, baby, baby, baby
Don’t cry even though it hurts

Great poem so many lines stuck out. Great work Melissa
Now I got the song Blurry Face stuck in my head. Not mad about it though haha well written and poignant.
Deeply emotional and raw, with a powerful sense of internal struggle and confusion. Incredibly done, Melissa! 💌🌟
Heyyyy, it's your signature moon milk eyes! Loved your poem so much Merly!
Your words capture pain and confusion so beautifully.
