I LET YOU GO

Letting you go.

By Domingo Ramos de los SantosPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I LET YOU GO

Submerged in the dark my voice trembled

Alone and in the dark I was locked up

winged and unable to fly

With eyes and without being able to see,

walking a lot, but nowhere

You came and I let you go

I let you go love when you wanted to go

Big mistake not giving you your freedom when you wanted to stay

When you wanted to be free

When you wanted freedom just to love me

I was a fool and an idiot

I did not know how to value such a precious pearl

So desired, so valuable

Caused you to leave

Without asking you to go

Withered our love because of my words

With tears in my heart, with regret in my reason

I learned what love is ... late ... When there was no time, when love was dying

Love that one day was as alive as the sun

I killed our love and pain was born

Deep, black, stormy and who doesn't want to leave

The pain of your absence moved into every part of my room

From my mind, from my heart
