I hope you think of me
Reminiscing on what used to be
By Zoe AntinoriPublished 6 months ago • 1 min read

When you’re running to your car in the pouring rain and you get in and laugh
Drenched and soggy
But completely and utterly happy
I hope you sit there, even just for a moment, and think of me
And if you don’t think of me
I hope a familiar wave of warmth rushes over you, consumes you for just a second
leaves you with a feeling like you’ve been there before
Not quite Deja vu but something of the sorts
That feeling in your stomach
The one that feels like butterflies when your body reminisces about something your mind just can’t gather
And I hope you think of me in the sun just as much
