How Will You Join in the Dance
The power of grains of sand

Hear ye modern man, listen to the ancient bards and sages.
We are more than ourselves. We are the product of ages.
We are born of stardust with access to the divine, that extends beyond ego and the senseless greed of a swine.
*
We are the fruit of those who came before.
We are the distilled nectar that comes from the core.
Sometimes deadly nectars are born in a flower of life .
There usually is an antidote that reduces the strife.
*
Use divine strength from within, respect nature and others.
Life survived by defeating the ignorance of sisters and brothers.
Standing on ignorance, the preternatural image remains true.
The Lord of the Dance marks the beat so the cosmos can renew.
*
The dance helps deal with danger since time began.
It is how life moved, from unfriendly dark waters, then ran.
We are part of a symbiotic world with give and take.
We change and cause change with each move that we make.
*
An electron is small and weak when alone yet when added or removed it moves electricity into a new zone.
Give or take, and sharing are the way nature works. Both types of interactions have their own quirks.
*
The past does not die It looks us straight in the eye
We can either choose to ignore and be blind or globally unite with spirit and mind.
*
Hear ye all. This is the time to heed the clarion call.
Let us stand on the shoulders of giants and not shrink or crawl.
Hope does not die in troubled times
Make a noise, join the dance, to defy stresses and heinous crimes.
*
We are pilgrims who can join the fugue in the paneurythmic dance
The morisco, mariachi, matachina, calusari, horas and hopscotch are known to nobles and peasants
The spirit of the dance is known to the Zani and Moors.
It holds the ancestral fire known to all but buffoons and boors.
*
We follow each step of the cosmic dance as grains in the sand They form colloids that can sink or a foundation upon which we can stand.
Do the jig to arouse spiritual pride not damnation. Respect the limits of the possible, to find hope in creation.
*
See below, upon and above the known and beyond. Dismiss ambiguities and inconsistencies, create a meaningful bond..
Watch the dance, scrutinize and imagine, then make music or dance, to support joy or chagrin.
About the Creator
Katherine D. Graham
My stories usually present facts, supported by science as we know it, that are often spoken of in myths. Both can help survival in an ever-changing world.
