I Don’t Care
I don’t care what the thinkers think,
I don’t care what the dreamers dream.
I don’t mean to sound brash,
No, I don’t mean to sound trash,
life is just a car crash,
I only care about you and me.
I don’t care what the rules should be,
I don’t follow them; they’re not for me.
All I care is that you're by my side,
Suppose the dreamers and the thinkers
Can all go and hide.
So let the thinkers find their own way,
And the dreamers and screamers fade away.
I only care about you and me,
So let’s follow our own destiny.
In a world where chaos reigns,
We’ll carve our path, free from the chains.
For love’s our guide, shining so bright,
In this dance of dreams, you’re my light.
With every step, we’ll write our song,
A melody of two, where we both belong.
Hand in hand, through the night we roam,
In your warmth, my love, I’ve found my home.
Let the thinkers ponder, let them debate,
For in your laughter, I find my fate.
Together we'll rise, let the world see,
In this journey called life, it’s just you and me.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

The best way to live!
Way to go on this one. You cover the gambit of living the life of a writer.
Very good work Marie 😊👏🏻
