Only I Knew

Let me tell you about the time that I almost died.

No tears left to cry on my way to a permanent high.

I collided with a boom. A big bang called life.

All life draining blood from all knife.

I looked down and said what is that dripping.

It looked like blood from a long way down tripping.

First I faced an accident and then I faced death.

Then I was dying. I felt like I had nothing left.

So much unfolding that I couldn’t even share mad tears.

But I knew I had to survive the trauma of the past year.

So I got back up and saw the wrong and decided to make it right.

Born and raised to fight. More than ready I came to fight.

It’s time for the hardships of life to face facts.

Once upon a time I almost died but I came back.
