Honestly, Honesty

Even if I'm not right, I'm not wrong.

Do you know what’s rare?

Do you know what’s hard to find?

I will have to say it’s more than just getting a simple peace of mind.

I’ll give you three examples of what’s rare.

I’ll tell you three examples of what’s hard to find.

If You read this poem, You’re going to get a piece of my mind.

1. People keeping contact

Staying true to contract

We don’t have Better, but the Best Business

By Cytonn Photography on Unsplash

Everything’s going good unless

Their personal life starts to leak in

I get stringed on, not once, not twice, but again and again

They keep pushing back deadlines and drop off the face of the planet

Shit that makes me so pissed off, even as a Christian, I want to scream “God Damn It!”

I go into this, making sure that I remain professional

Yet, they think I’m like I’m socially and mentally lacking, treat me like I’m special

Even though we’ve drawn lines in the sand

They force me to come back and not be bullied by their silence, I make a stand

My time, my energy, my money, it all needs to be respected

Everybody has to learn lessons. So, those three will always remain protected.

I’ll make sure that our business is more than thorough.

If they try to screw me over, I’m taking them to the Bureau.

2. People pulling scams, with fake accounts being made left and right

Innocent’s losing their identities and livelihoods, all gone in one night

YouTube, Instagram, Vocal, and SnapChat

By Grant S on Unsplash

From false crypto raffles to sexbot’s in comments and dms, it’s all bullcrap

Even skeptics fall for that stuff, they’re not as smart as they think

A lot of people have scanned a QR code or clicked on a virus link

“There’s a sucka born every minute,” but that’s not the common denominator

I reported well over ten YouTube channels pretending to be Tesla, all just impersonators

I hate when people on the street try to pan handle

Then when it’s not enough they try to manhandle

I hate choosing beggars not accepting a decent act of kindness

Especially when they try to trick people, thinking they’ve got blindness

One night a man asked me for money for gasoline, so I gave him a gift card

Then he acted stubborn, his attitude went from grateful to hard

“But sir! I need money!” I said, “That’s for the gas station across the street.”

I was raised to help others; you never know about angels in disguise you could meet

Instead of saying thanks and walking away

He kept the gift card and kept pushing until my family member walked out the doorway

“Excuse me? Who are you? Stop bothering him, please.

Oh? You need gas? Then go across the street and get on your knees.”

I’m tired of people treating me like I’m soft and that my heart will not talk.

People that play the victim have words fall on deaf ears. Now I just walk.

Careful not to click on things that are too good to be true.

As our world evolves so do scams, there’s always reinventions becoming something new.

3. Vocal’s responses, their rules and their games.

We’ve played them all for some time, others refuse to repeat the refrain.

Before I even made account, I heard they broke their own rules for wordcount.

In a haiku challenge they miscounted the syllables, they never checked proper amount.

I emailed them with evidence for proof, an answer was due.

Then they told me that I omitted a word, the next challenge, I submitted over 100 to.

So, I emailed them back with a screenshot of the poem before the edit was made.

They never responded. So, I took note of the game they played.

Then they made a response, but never answered their own question.

They replace old problems with new challenges, escaping with succession.

Then not just me, but something new happened to several people too.

A problem discussed but never answered properly, that’s stricken more than few.

We were told that we violated community guidelines.

When I first noticed the violation.

So, we asked Vocal, and confusing email messages they hid behind.

I was told that a comment of mine got reported 18 times.

I asked them about it, and they never replied.

I messaged them both on email and Instagram.

They gave me a momentary run-around. I had to restart over again.

They told me the support team would respond back to me in three days.

That email was sent on January 22nd, just another delay.

They still hadn't respond even with another ticket submitted on February 7th.

For a time, I couldn’t make any comments at all.

My friends were upset, as they’ve come to love my comments.

A lot of comments have been published, since they became such wonderful content.

Also, all of my comments were deleted.

Heck, somebody copied my unique comment on the same article, repeated.

I never promote spam and have helped to remove a plagiarized story.

Yet my validity came under fire, this b.s. made me worry.

I don’t care if I win a competition. I don’t care if that makes me cool.

The platform should follow its own guidelines and its own rules.

Yeah, I know I’m not perfect. I never pretend that I am.

If my account goes down, this poem might be the reason I get banned.
