Don't blame her for her past mistakes.
She had to do "whatever it takes"
She did the very best she could given the circumstance
Though you may not understand why she took the chance
But she did and it turned out to be good
She's done so much that others never would
Her life has not been perfect but she feels blessed
She has been loved, though some have obsessed.
Most people see her as happy and carefree
The girl who loves wildflowers, snakes, and the honeybee
But under her smile, I know the girl who sometimes cries
The one still affected by those old tracks and lies
Please, don't condemn her for things in the past
She's living her life at long last
It is something she worked hard to build
You will find no one more passionate and strong-willed
We look to her when we need love or power
She is there in our darkest hour
So never look upon her with judgment or rejection
Simply take her in. The woman in your reflection
