Heaven’s Unison

A Poem

(Starry Night) By Author

The starry night had a mystic breeze: cool and refreshing. It was something magical about the misty park trail. Purple and orange filled the sky, giving off a luxurious enchantment, and if you laid in the green and bluish grass, you were sure to fall asleep. They were outside, but the couple oddly enough felt like they were home.

They presumed they were meant to disappear into the night under the moon, so they succumbed to the feeling of oneness with the earth. They enjoyed sweet dark cherries and fleshy ripened mangoes.

They didn't speak; they let the night animals provide background music, embracing their contrasting energies. The air had a crisp smell of rain, which induced revitalizing properties. The earthy scents of pine cone trees engulfed the air, providing therapeutic vibrations.

They let their troubles and worries of the world fade into the abyss of their minds. Of course, they were well aware of the world's impurities. Nonetheless, they focused on the pure and intoxicating beauties of nature at this particular moment.

Their environment's negative and positive polarities gave them a new perspective on the balance of life. The more the couple dissolved into their surroundings, the more they realized that positive and negative ideologies were misleading labels about creation. They concluded that everything vibrates at different ends of the same spectrum.

The couple smiled at their reflection in a puddle of water, mirroring their bliss. It was as if they saw themselves for the first time, falling helplessly in love. Their reflection reminded them of their first magnetic encounter. Their eyes had locked from across a crowded room. They both felt that the heavens had created their unison. So, no, they weren't merely encountering a spiritual revelation; but experiencing the satisfaction in their being. In their existing.

They were at ease, knowing their delight would not last forever. They didn't seek for it to do so. The couple actually took great pleasure in knowing that it would end because having such an occasion last forever would take away its charm. They took satisfaction in enjoying each other than returning to their lives, looking forward to their infrequent rendezvous.
