Neon Valor

A poem about crazy love

I peered into the gaps of your soul,

Straight through the prison bars

Collecting your madness behind

Ugly grey eyes, psychotic eyes.

.

Neon perversions gather there,

Haunting the electric dreams

Of sour bones and rotten souls.

.

You've lost the gradient of sanity,

The smooth slide between goals

And chewing on the snake's tail

Like it's a forgotten delicacy.

.

So why am I so gripped by this

Insatiable, ravenous hunger?

Why do I want to fall apart?

.

I want to devour the madness

In your glowing eyes and taste

The bubbling champagne

Of your ugly insanity.

.

So open my mouth and feed me

The neon valor of a creature

More monster than man.

Shadowed souls, cursed magic, poetry that tangles itself in your soul and yanks out the ugly darkness from within. Maybe there's something broken in me, but it's in you too.

Shudder. This was exquisite in as much as it was insightful. A lived experience fur anyone do has gone gir a partner with that kinda danger to their personality and spirit. Well wrought as ever my friend. It feels as though you never publish a crappy poem! I'm jealous haha
