He Raped Me So My Father Shot Him

No one ever liked it to my father or me

He Raped Me So My Father Shot Him

Night heavy with silence,

his hands dragged me down.

My cries swallowed,

my body torn.

The world a pit,

I fell screaming.

No one came,

the stars hid.

When it was done,

I was ruined.

Skin bruised, soul broken,

I thought of ending.

My father saw me,

he knew without words.

His eyes met mine,

the truth burned there.

He took his gun,

he did not tremble.

He found the beast,

he ended him.

The shot rang out,

a sound of justice.

The ground drank blood,

the night grew lighter.

But no stain leaves me,

I carry it still.

My father gave me power back,

yet I am marked forever.

A family secret kept forever.

A dark poem but a good one.

I understand why the father did this for love of his daughter, but now that father needs to keep watching his back for one never knows who saw what when. You really show the fear of the daughter and the anger of the father. Good job.
