survival or wither

endure or demise

the bend of the road

meets a weak alibi

familiarity drops off

challenged by being alive

salvations soon cut-off

where confusion thrives

meek meets its maker

fear floats like a balloon

happy's undertaker

dwells on the dark side of the moon

the freedom of falling

meets the doom of collide

destiny's calling

the unknown hand that it bites

savagely wicked

this act of being alone

when what is and what isn't

is all you've ever known

the moment is fleeting

as you're plummeting down

there is no retreating

once your feet leave the ground
