when youre younger they always tell you things are too good to be true. little did i know youd be the one to bring that into view.

after years of failed relationships i thought maybe youd be the one to change the game. turns out i was just a pawn and you put that thought to shame.

you couldnt seem to figure out what you wanted or even where you were. dont try to explain now though. i know where you stand.

i sat here waiting and waiting and waiting. waiting even just for a hello. what i got instead was silence that pierced my ears.

a silence so quiet that i could hear my own thoughts wondering what i had done. did i do too much, but that i guess i will never know.

maybe thats why they call it ghosting. it makes you question your sense of reality like the supernatural does.

there is always a lesson to be learned out of every person you meet. you taught me that silence speaks louder than words.
