Note:
I originally wrote this for the Sky-ku. Then reread it and said to myself. ‘Jason, ya fool. This has nothing to do with the sky.’
So, I send this out to you. Please take a mental snapshot of everyday events, capture the moments of your life, to re-live another day.

Love this! JBaz Simple yet so nostalgic—like catching glimpses of the past in a still pond.✨😊
Oh this was so beautiful and creative. The mirrored images and reflection stood behind them like their memories do, they linger behind as they walk into the present and ahead into the future. Their shadows stood in as their memory, but it will follow them as they walk the path of life. This touched the deepest part of me. This was the first thing I read when I woke up, and even though you said it didn’t quite fit the challenge, it was meant to be published on Vocal. I can’t imagine this piece being hidden from us. 👌🏽👏🏽
I see why you wanted to enter it as a sky-ku, but also why you didn't.
I mean... this is about love and the saying "love is in the air" fits... could be a sky-ku! 😅 Either way this is beautiful and I adore the sentiment behind it!
Great haiku, Jason, a good reminder to cherish good memories.
Hahahahahahhahaha I laughed so much for what you said to yourself. Loved your beautiful Haiku!
but this is a really fabulous haiku.
Lovely haiku! ♥️
Nailed it ! SKy ku poem achieved , the sky is powerful.
The Sky never gets old either. Excellent sky-ku poem in my book.
So relatable. The sky is a mirror in my book. 🙂
That's beautiful. I'll take it. Thank you 😊
