Finding What Matters

And Better For It

These scabby cold stones

Mimic old brittle bones

leave me Feeling alone

Cause I'm too hard to love

Hiding out in my room

From what you put me through

But now, I’m done with that too

This time, enough is enough

Illusion took me by surprise

The moon and stars danced in my eyes

Now I've seen from both sides

And I'm calling your bluff

Poised and ready to fly

Kiss those sorrows goodbye

All it took was to try

And now I've got the right stuff

Free to find love again

A new place to begin

I’ve found where true happiness is

And now, I’m worthy of love
