Finally Unconstrained
A haiku for my newly re-potted plants

Plants in my dwelling
Tell each other in sunlight
How happy they are.
I have finally re-potted the two aloe plants I got in tiny seeding containers about three weeks ago and a lemon tree with a fruit I bought the day before yesterday.

Aloe is doing really well, but the lemon tree is a little sickly, with some of its leaves drying on ends. It was like that when I bought it and I hope it’s because it was too tight in its small propagation pot. I had to straighten out its long tangled roots before replanting. The pot I got for it is four times larger.
The plants here in Tbilisi are cheap: 25 GEL (Georgian lari) for the tree and 5 GEL for each aloe. The pots cost me 32 GEL - 8x2 +16. Plus 5 GEL for a bag of garden soil. So the total cost of 72 GEL was about $26.5.
Now I want to buy more plants for my bedroom as it has even more sunlight than the living room where these plants are and some potted flowers for the kitchen bar height countertop.
Plants in my dwellings make my life a lot happier.

A delightfully cheerful haiku & lovely accompanying photos. I’m not a gardener & desperately need to repot plants & prune/ dehead daisy bushes!😬
Beautiful haiku and plants. They look happy!
You seem like you are good with plants. I have black thumbs 🤯
Beautiful, Lana. Glad they are with you. We try to keep ours thriving, but the sunlight where we are isn't too good.
So glad they are still with you, lovely words and pictures
I hope your lemon tree gets better soon. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼🤞🏼✨️❤️
