I really your take on this! It's a believable conversation and very thought-provoking. The title is perect, too!
For AI and for humans, the question revisited is the myth/origin story and its implications. Can something/someone be faulty/imperfect and not know it? Absolutely. Can something/someone be operationally in tact/perfect and not know it? Absolutely. I enjoyed thinking through the questions posed in the discussion, and how the question of proof is central to each side's argument. This one's much deeper than appears. Well written!
