"Get ready for your breakthrough! Your husband/wife is immediately on the way!" They sneakily say.

But it's now 21 years later, and you've still beheld no wedding day!

Beware of those False Prophets with deep pockets! LOL 🀣

If they desire recompense, they are likely preying on you. If they give for the sake of giving, they are likely praying for you. Bless you for your sincerity and your well-wrought commentary on the absurdity of it all!

I think they're all charlatans tbh

Those false prophets certainly have deep pockets. Its unfortunate people buy into their lies and deceptions

🀣 there's plenty of those. This was a great read, very original too. I couldn't tell what it was going to be about from the title, it was a very pleasant surprise. Loved the way it rhymed and flow.

We never know the plan for each of us...your path is yours alone...we must embrace our unique journey no matter where it takes us. Easy to say...yet it is what it is. Keep well and be of good cheer as always Tiffany dear...You are a star. Lots of love and hugs,

Lol. Couldn't have said it better. Players will play, haters will hate. But it's the false ones who mess with our fate. Lol.

The snake oil salesperson haven't left the planet!!! Seeing false promises makes me sick. Right now, I am dealing with extremely painful gastric ulcer.

I agree with lightning below. I too, am a lone wolf. Maybe we are too picky...I don't think i am built for it though. Yet, it is never too late. It is when you are not expecting a thing that it creeps up and surprises you. I will have a chat with the universe about it. 4 billion men and not a single man in sight...so weird. πŸ˜’πŸ€–Think we can build some perfect imperfect ones.

❀️ very true! Encouragement and belief in others is one thing but peddling false hope is nothing less than emotional extortion.

  • Too bad they're just soooo many of them! Loved your poem!

The more you long for it, the less likely it'll happen. If you push, the universe pushes back. Letting Go and trusting in Right Timing worked for me, but it was exercise in patience. I didn't see the smile that forever changed my soul until I was 58 years old. You're a Catch. πŸ˜‰ Just saying. Loved this poem! ⚑β™₯️⚑
