The scent of his spicy cologne beckoned me to stop midstride...

His perfectly manicured beard of wool perfectly framed his handsome cinnamon-toned face...

So mesmerizing was the warmth of his aura that I barely noticed the ding of an incoming text message as we chatted...

I could still taste the remnants of my breakfast muffin as I nibbled on the inside of my cheek and blushed right as he told me that I was beautiful...

My heart nearly stopped as I hugged him goodbye...

You blew my mind with this one. Your description of his beard being as like wool, makes him sound meritorious. Wool doesn’t come by very often, even though it may seem abundant. This poem is as spicy as his cologne, it brings us the vibe to clutch the men we have, and maybe bring him upstairs for an hour or two.

i think the word wool, in combination with "mid-stride" made me think for a minute you had met a sheep, despite the cologne.
