Everything Stops For Tea
For Ellie Hoovs Wonderland Poetry Prompt Challenge Day 29

Introduction
I wanted to try a new poetic form, and this challenge has allowed me to do this, but the sestina is too much for this, so I will give you an ekphrastic limerick, but I will write a sestina this weekend. I have something that I can apply the form to.
This is the challenge if you want to investigate:
The music is "Everything Stops For Tea" by Long John Baldry, written by Al Goodhart, Al Hoffman, and Maurice Sigler for the 1935 musical film Come Out of the Pantry.

This made me smile. Tea truly solves everything! π
I'll stop, but coffee for me, please. Nice limerick!
Oh, this all lovely! βοΈπ°π« Lovely poem and I loved the song! I will steal it for some other tea ocassion/writing. π
My friend from England via New Zealand says "why you have as much, if not more tea than I do!" I don't know how others surf through 6days without it
Everything has to stop for something, though there are those of us who stop for anything.
Hehehehe I wanna join for tea as well. Loved your poem!
