As close pals.

However, his story mirrored our friendship and his love for me.

I could tell that it was all about us.

He confessed that he longed to kiss her.

That's what he told me.

The feeling was mutual.

Yet, I couldn't say it out loud.

I was hoping that there would be a way out.

I was hiding how I feel in his presence.

But one day, he talked.

"Don't catch feelings."

That's what I said to him.

"I already have."
