the twitching of a muscle
just before things start to move
the fine hairs that start to bristle
in the changing of a mood
the sparkling of an eye
in the instant light’s reflected
the inability to fight
the body’s need to be protected
in every inch beneath the skin
a nerve communicating process
before movement even begins
a reaction is already planned for adjust
we rarely have to think about it
it falls in line, life’s dominos
naturally created and self reliant
from our head down to our toes

Yes, its crazy how the body works. Love how you compared the nerves and movements to dominoes. Excellent poem.
another lovely poem, Kelli
