Light Breaks The Water

I watched the stars fall from heaven, to dance upon the waves
A million shimmering ripples gathering them all into one place
They sparkled and flashed, like fireflies strung together
A twinkling display of when the light breaks the water
A somber sensation as the mist reaches the shore
Absorbed into my being, escaping with fire from my pores
