Deep Shore
Written for Vocal's Moment of Silence Acrostic Challenge

Sleek-slowly I traverse the lake.
I find it wholesome to be alone.
Luscious quiet, the chill, the wake,
Envelop me, a blood-filled stone.
Now, still, I seek the deepest shore.
Cherish these, my freighted bones.
Each life, one day, moves never more.

Congratulations on placing as a runner up with this amazing acrostic poem. For some reason, I get vibes that remind me of Poe's masterpieces - and that's a huge compliment! Congratulations again - well done!
Beautiful
Beautiful writing. I love that it’s an acrostic, and the structure flows so smoothly, like a wake on the lake. Well done.
This was so melancholic and wistful. Loved your Acrostic!
I loved your first line - really set the tone for the whole poem. Fab.
Deep, foresighted and humble.
