My mind fractures like spiderwebbed glass.

Disbelief battles with hindsight.

Anguish fights indignation.

Questions lead to questions.

I ache all over.

Can’t breathe, can’t think.

You’ve left me.

Without.

Peace.

Whoa! The sensations in this come through powerfully! I’m a little short of breath! Nicely done, Kenny!

This is really well done. Good luck.

  • Hindsight is very powerful and that disbelief is so relatable. Loved your poem!
