The dark periods in our lives can seem more than the light. We face rejection, difficulties, or being ignored when it should count.

But it’s good to remember that the sun, much like a wheel of fortune, moves in cycles. So dark periods never last forever, and we have the strength to handle them when they come.

Night falls, the sun sets

Warm rays of light forgotten-

Yet rises again.

Love this ❤️ it reminds of my favorite song from Annie.

  • But that's the thing, if I have to experience the dark to experience the light, then I don't even wanna experience the light, lol. Loved your poem!
