Rejection is not easy to swallow. It plants the seed of doubt and often, resentment., causing a loss of confidence.

But more often than not, a shake up is a time of new possibilities that are hard to appreciate at the time. It is a chance to start over, but hard to accept when there is anxiety.

But embracing it may be exactly what we need. Enjoy this Tanka.

Soil does not nourish

Offer of small, humble seed

But the wind brings it

To richer land of bright dreams

Where it now blooms with promise.
