Croí Óir on the Autumnal Equinox
A Nature Sonnet For My Muse
It is the Autumn Equinox and My Muse has a real heart of gold, the colour of many Autumn Leaves.
The Gaelic Phrase “Tá Croí Óir Agat” means “You Have A Heart Of Gold” and I thought it was a beautiful line to include in this sonnet
The music is "King of Morning, Queen of Day" by Horslips from one of my favourite albums of all time "Book of Invasions" and in my opinion is a perfect mood piece for this poem.

And Now I Know Tá Croí Óir Agat
My Beautiful Love, Faerie Princess
Always Loving You More, Never Less

Holding Hands With Autumn Leaves Above
To Hold You Close, To Be So In Love
In Here You Are My Galadriel
Your Beauty Has Me Under Your Spell

In This Great Forest, We See Wonders
And Together Here We Will Wander
To Be In Love In This Magic Place
The Elves And Dryads Will Lead The Way
