In those serene moments,
Amidst the atmosphere's trillions of layers,
I find solace.
I extend my invitation to the ghosts that live there,
Patiently awaiting my call,
Only then .
Will I act in a manner that satisfies their desires?
Learning psychology used to fascinate my friend.
Sadly, she met a tragic end
On the side of the road
When a car collided with her and her husband.
She had intended to pursue a career
As a soul healer.
With her dreams, abruptly shattered,
Death took her from this world.
Someone eradicated the good one,
While the bad ones have remained.
It's the same when my dad is around.
Each time I sit at my desk,
Attempting to string together a few words
That would make him proud to hear.
But now he's far away, on a distant cloud,
Interacting with a crowd that I'm not yet permitted to see.
His dad would be ecstatic, riding an imaginary bicycle,
Maintaining the harmony between my dad and me.
Whenever we falter, he guides us
Like the greatest judge you could ever have,
Peeking over his shoulder while peeling apples.
My black and white dog
Euthanized by my furious dad.
This dog supposedly bit a child.
The forest trips were never of any help.
Every time he returned,
He seemed as magnificent as ever.
You can never extinguish what is good.
You may silence it temporarily, but ultimately,
You will discover that all the villains ended up in hell
While the heroes endured.
They are our guardian angels adorned in black capes.

This was so heartfelt and heartbreaking at the same time. I can feel the strong emotions you had writing it. ♥︎♥︎♥︎
This was beautiful but my heart is broken for you, is this autobiographical? I like the inconsistent length of each lines, it’s so nice on the eyes. I love the rhymes and the flow, how it started from a serene moment to engaging with the ghost wrapped around and within natures beauty, such an interesting concept.
