Comfort Is

Comfort to me

Comfort Is

Comfort is

Cuddling on the couch with my husband at night

The fireplace casting its warmth and glow

Comfort is

That first cup of coffee on my porch

Watching the day unfold

Comfort is

Watching scary movies with my kids

Lights out, hiding our faces with our blankets

Comfort is

My gray sweatpants and favorite hoodie

When the weather gets cool or chilly

Comfort is

A walk on a cool autumn day

Through the woods, blazing orange

By Nadja Zehe on Unsplash

Comfort is

Messy bed sheets on Saturday morning

Where I am the little spoon

Comfort is

My Favorite episodes of “Schitt’s Creek”

When my mood is down

Comfort is

Meditating and progressive muscle relaxation

To help manage my constant anxiety

Comfort is

Hugs from my husband

The kind of hug that holds all the pieces back together

Comfort is

Hot chocolate and cookies

When it is cold and snowy

Comfort is

Soaking in a hot bath

When my weary bones ache

Comfort is
