Color Me Happy
Yellow would describe me
If a color rang true to my soul
Bright, happy, cheerful
Very rarely dull
Sunshine in the darkness
Bright light in a Black hole
Staying optimistic
When life takes its toll
Although I strive for Yellow
At times I may be Blue
In my thoughts and feelings
The color Black comes for me too
How do I pick one color
With the beauty of them all?
Green brings the biggest joy
Nature, the trees standing tall
Purple and majestic
When I’m in a royal mood
Feeling confident and magic
Something special has been brewed
Bold and purposeful
Red makes its presence known
Standing up for what I believe in
Even if I stand alone
I can’t be just one color
I’ve come to realize
That’s why rainbows are so beautiful 🤩
It’s me in the sky
Showing every color
Badges I have earned in this life
After the storm, accepting myself
Finally in paradise
