Color Confusion

Something about me

I am color confusion.

Are they silver?

Opaque?

I am a tapioca pearl

Once fleeting, I arrive in tremendous glory

Yellow to violet

An ephemeral sob that grasps the air

A non-binary soul tucked

Away

Behind

Always a but, when it comes to arguing my identity

I speak in green

Yell in

Red and I

wait,

beg for

Different hues to hug me home

Society sees my wavelength

Three eight zero-

Seven four zero

But baby I am

Ultraviolet and infrared along with

Cyan

Something about me

Orange sunsets

Blue moonlight reflect validity

Off my skin

I am fluid

And you make

My liquid sting.
